Out of 189 international teams, Angelee Carandang, Celine Manese, Vanessa Muñoz and Prof. Jose Nestor Guevara of Team ZikAway from 91���� International School and Colleges – College of Business, Entrepreneurship and Tourism (CBET), won the Silver Award at the PolyU Innovation & Entrepreneurship Global Student Challenge 2017 yesterday, June 29, 2017 in Hong Kong. The SISC Karatedo Team brought home gold, silver and bronze medals from the 2014 Luzon Inter-School Karate Kobudo Championship held last February 23.  The SISC karatekas finished with a medal tally of 8 gold, 5 silver, and 3 bronze against school and gyms from Bicol, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, and the National Capital Region. Our recent trip to the �Kingdom of Wonder� or Cambodia, consisting of 25 International Baccalaureate students and three staff members from SISC, proved to be an experience of a lifetime. Landing in Siem Reap brought us face-to-face with a civilization that was already advanced in the 9th century and constructed the most amazing temples in the 11th & 12th. It�s just the middle of the year and Gen Mark Tanno of 91���� International School and Colleges has already brought home awards from China and Bulgaria, not only for his school but also for his country. Just before the month of July ended, Tanno helped the Philippine Team prevailed in the 2013 Math Olympiad held in Jiangxi, China by winning a silver medal. Gen Mark Tanno, a Grade 10 student of 91���� International School and Colleges, brought home a Merit Award and placed Second-Runner Up in the Team and Group Contests in th 2013 Bulgaria International Mathematics Competition (BIMC) held in Bugas, Bulgaria, last June 30 to July 5. The Preschool and Grade School Divisions of 91���� International School and Colleges (SISC) recently watched Repertory Philippines� The Wizard of Oz at Onstage, Greenbelt 1, Makati. The students had a grand time experiencing the colorful sets and costumes, lively music, simple dialogue, lyrics, humor of the cast members, and the special effects. The students also enjoyed immensely the audience participation portion of the play when they interacted with the Cowardly Lion, the Tin Man and the Scarecrow.
