The 1st Asian Federation of Student Leaders (AFSL) International Youth Congress held last January 21-24, 2015 in Guam, USA gave its delegates an opportunity to develop strong leadership skills like self-management, people management, and task management anchored on character, integrity and collaboration, thus, fostering peace, harmony, and global kinship through social responsiveness and servant-leadership.
Loren Angeli Estavillo, who was the College of Nursing™s delegate to the Congress, gained invaluable experiences that will help her develop the competencies toward becoming a nurse leader and manager as she embarks in her chosen profession. SISC™s College of Nursing has always been open to innovative educational opportunities that would provide varied and authentic learning experiences for students beyond the structure of a formal classroom or a clinical setting.
