Participants of the event received a crash course on topics such as how to write a good book review, designing a blog, and establishing a social media presence. Of course, anyone can be a book blogger! What remains is what book to write about. The book blogging experts stressed the importance of a genre to start with whether sci-fi, fantasy, or contemporary as long as one would never lose interest in it.
Aside from writing good book reviews, utilizing social media to share ones reviews and promote ones blog can also help create good working relationships with authors and publishers locally and internationally. The audience showed enthusiasm, participating actively in the forums Q&A portion. The event ended with applause and bigger appreciation of what blogging is all about making this event a huge success!
